Fishing with Youth Groups in Utah

Effective May 2015, youth ages 12-15 can fish without a license. One adult must have a license. A form must be filled out (see http://wildlife.utah.gov/fishing/pdf/youth_org_exemption.pdf ) Result from HB125 run by Bruce Cutler.

Are you a scout leader or a mentor for a youth group? Many groups can hold fishing events that don’t require a fishing license for participants age 16 and younger. To determine if you are eligible and to complete the license-exemption form, visit http://wildlife.utah.gov/youth-org" [1]
